Dear WCS Family and Friends,
The 2009-2010 academic year is off to a strong start with God bringing a record number of students to Westbury Christian this year in spite of the economy, with God blessing the diligent efforts of the faculty and staff, and with God providing gifts through the generosity of our alumni and donors.
As the Board of Trustees and administration embarks upon strategic planning efforts this year the future of WCS is being shaped. “What doors will God open for us in the years ahead, and what does He want the school to accomplish in the next thirty-five years?” We are looking to God for guidance in providing opportunities to serve Him through Christian education.
Let me encourage you to play a larger role in our annual fund drive this year. It is difficult to increase tuition for families, yet the importance of nurturing young lives with the love of Jesus remains a priority for all believers. That makes this year’s annual fund drive one of the most important in the school’s history given the economics of our current time. Your support is ever so valuable in this endeavor!
Instead of wondering “how could I possibly afford to give?” I challenge you to give out of faith – faith that God is using your donation to advance His will. Your tax deductible gift no matter the size joins with others and acknowledges our mission of “Preparing Youth for Here and Eternity.”
As we steward these resources into each child’s education we are grateful to our partners that make the mission of WCS possible. The faces on this year’s letter are just a few of the students you support with your donation as you make a difference in their education and an even more important contribution to their growth in God’s kingdom.
Sincerely,

Greg J. Glenn
