The WCS Senior Class '09
The Senior Class '09 traveled off campus for lunch as their reward for their 1st place finish in the Homecoming activities. After a short bus ride to Meyerland Plaza, students divided into groups for lunch at a restaurant of their choice. Cody Moles said “We enjoyed going to Escalante’s. It was a great time bonding with friends.” Daelyn Richardson and her group went to Café Express where she enjoyed sweet potato fries and a turkey burger. After lunch they walked to Smoothie King and then on to Borders to read books. After lunch the Senior class rode to Meyer Park for the traditional senior group picture. “It was fun trying to fit all those people all smiling at the same time into the photo,” said Travis Mitchell. Kyle Huckabee called the photo shoot, “super spectacular!” The bus ride back to school remained equally exciting with the senior cheerleaders initiating chants and getting participation from class members. Emlynn Chazhikat said, “The class enjoyed the bus ride. It brought out our classes’ personalities and brought everyone together.”
