In the annual Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Art District Competition held at The Awty International School and hosted by Second Baptist School, WCS placed third overall. Westbury Christian School middle and upper school students have been traveling across Texas competing in several academic meets and bringing home top awards. At the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) District Meet held at WCS in March, 30 WCS students competed. Nine high school students, Audris Ponce, Annie Pan, Emily Pan, Preston Meyers, Ingrid Guan, DeAndre Beadle, Jon Scott and Luis Chung qualified to advance to the State Academic Meet held at Concordia Lutheran University in Austin, Texas. Ingrid Guan placed 2nd in Advanced Math and 1st in Physics. The Titlist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Instructor Program is a "three level education course designed to teach golf coaches how to identify and overcome any physical restrictions that are limiting a student's potential.
